United States Defense Under Obama

"Barack Obama and Joe Biden support plans to increase the size of the Army by 65,000 soldiers and the Marines by 27,000 troops.  We cannot repeat delays in deployment of armored vehicles, body armor, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles that save lives on the Front lines."  This quote is taking directly from the President and he has continued to stress that the primary goal is to safeguard the lives of our troops.  As an investor you want to identify the companies which produce these products.   The main companies which produce military equipment are General Dynamics (GD), Ceradyne (CRDN), Honeywell (HON), Haliburton (HAL), Northrop  Grumman (NOC), and Boeing (BA).  Between Northrop Grumman (NOC) and Boeing (BA) look for NOC to come out in top as we have noticed dominance by them in willing the KC-X contract.  The safest play out of all is investing in an expand United States navy.  If so then the two important warship builder are Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics.  The military spending in all should be reduced compared to the Bush Administration however like everything there is still room to grow.  Before you invest in any company make sure you have valued the crucial aspects as integrity, growth prospects, and stability if all those prove successful them make the move.
